Carmo Wines, a producer from Portugal's Douro region, takes its name and inspiration from Porto's iconic Igreja do Carmo. Its owner, a devoted follower, wanted to honor the Carmelite Order, leading to the creation of this distinctive wine.
The church's façade features traditional Portuguese tiles depicting scenes from the Order's founding. This artistic heritage shapes the identity of our Carmo wine, tying it to the cultural and historical roots that define the region.
